UPDATE: Technical Difficulties Resolved

UPDATE:
The Kerr County Tax Office once again is able to assist the public with motor vehicle transactions after a statewide technical issue with the Motor Vehicle Department's system was resolved.

The problem had caused an inability at the local level to perform motor vehicle registrations, title transfers, etc. for a few hours on Friday morning.

Thank you to our citizens for their patience and cooperation while we waited for the state to fix the problem.

Due to technical issues at the state level, the Kerr County Tax Office currently is unable to process any type of motor vehicle registration, title transfers, etc.

"This problem is statewide, apparently," said Bob Reeves, the county's tax assessor-collector. "The Kerr County Tax Office is monitoring the situation and will keep the public posted."
